NOMENCLATURE ET GENÈSE
THE ORIGIN OF GATTREPEITHO
The name Gattrepeitho combines “Gattre,” drawn from the feline form, and “Peitho,” the Greek figure of silent persuasion. It reflects the meeting of instinct and myth, nature and presence.
Cats remain a constant presence in our studio life, shaping rhythm, attention, and perception. Guagua, a silver-shaded Shorthair with blue eyes, is part of this daily environment.
This connection carries a responsibility to protect. We are actively committed to stray cat rescue initiatives, dedicating a portion of our journey to supporting shelters and protecting vulnerable animals.
